say hello to “the football” – my custom creative workhorse

welcome to mosiqqa.com – the digital hq for mo siqqa llc!

hello everyone, it is elmo here. this is my first official blog post on the new mo siqqa website, and i’m stoked to finally have a central hub for all things music, art, and elmo-fi chaos. you’ll find updates on events my production company is curating, including behind-the-scenes band stories, new merch drops, (most importantly) ticket links, and whatever wild projects we’re cooking up. consider this your backstage pass to the the mind of mo siqqa! #sicktite

now, "what is the football?" you might ask.

it’s got nothing to do with pigskin. it’s my portable supercomputer, which i built inside a rugged zero halliburton briefcase, the same kind you’ve seen in movies carrying top-secret nuclear codes, hence the name. this thing is my all-in-one creative arsenal, and i take it everywhere.

  • live: imagine ai-controlled video projections, a touchscreen manipulating wild audio effects, and interactive visuals that react to the music in real time. the football lets me bring next-level production to any stage, turning even the most diy space into a futuristic audiovisual playground.
  • studio: need to record, produce, or mix on the go? the football has me covered. I can set up a full music production rig in minutes, no matter whether i’m in a hotel room, backstage, lost in the amazon jungle, or chilling in a picturesque park.
  • possibilities: from glitch art to generative visuals, custom synths to live coding, this thing is limitless. i'm constantly adding new functionality and reimagining the possibilities, implementing python scripts, controlling the inbuilt arduino.

in the next couple of days or so, i’ll be dropping a big show announcement where the football will be front and center. you’re not gonna wanna miss this.

in the meantime, peep the setup below—this is the football in all its glory.

i don't want my valuable intellectual property contained in both the hardware and data of the football to get into the open yet, so i always keep these furry handcuffs around to secure the football to my person. -elmus
