MIDAS is a live experience. A system. A feedback loop between musician and machine. Each performance is its own ecology, structured but always shifting. Songs stretch. Ideas mutate. The moment decides what stays and what breaks.
We come out of New Orleans, so the groove is built in. But this is about Jazz as a verb: A way of listening, responding, reshaping. You’ll hear bass lines pulled through modular filters, drum patterns conversing with samplers, woodwinds warped through code. You’ll see visuals react to sounds that don’t exist yet.
Nothing’s on autopilot. Every element is being handled, questioned, fed back in real time. The gear doesn’t run the show—it challenges it. And we answer, over and over, until something new opens up.
MIDAS isn’t trying to be futuristic. It just sounds like what happens when you stop pretending to know what the future is.
